Class Descriptions:
Prenatal Yoga:
Prenatal yoga gives you a chance to nurture, strengthen, and stretch your body as it is busy growing your precious cargo. Learn how to safely move your body through poses with appropriate modifications taken to keep yourself comfortable and your baby safe. Connect with other moms-to-be in a safe, open environment.
This class is open to all levels and done in a room with a comfortable temperature of approximately 85F. Bring a mat, towel, water and wear comfortable clothing.
Yoga for Two:
Yoga for Two is designed for new moms or caregivers to bond with your baby through touch, sight, sound, and movement. Incorporate your baby into your practice as well as take some time to massage and nurture them. Join a supportive community of new moms – essential during the postpartum period!
This class is great for new moms who have received permission from their doctor to exercise and babies 6 weeks to crawling.
This is an open class where feeding and changing diapers is totally welcomed. Please bring a baby blanket to lay your baby on, as well as any toys that keep them comfortable. Room will be a warm room temperature for comfort.
Hot 90:
A 90 minute series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises preformed twice at approx. 105F and 30% humidity. This class is both vigorous and rejuvenating. It is an ideal class for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Hot 60:
A 60 minute series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises preformed once at approximately 105F and 30% humidity. This class maintains the body when time is limited. This class is open to all levels.
Yoga Sculpt:
Yoga Sculpt combines sun salutations and yoga poses along with free weights and cardio. This high-energy class is a great way to cross-train your typical yoga practice.
Intro to Ashtanga:
This class gives students a chance to dip their toes into the world of Ashtanga Yoga. Ashtanga Yoga is a challenging series of fast-paced movements that is completed in approximately 90 minutes. Although the series is not completed in entirety during class, it introduces the poses as well as builds efficiency with each class.
Hatha:
A traditional practice that is based on performing one pose at a time. Hatha gives students the opportunity to break down and explore beginner to advanced yoga poses.
Vinyasa:
Vinyasa is an all-levels class based on the flow of one movement to the next while focusing on the breath. Each class is unique with each instructor offering his or her own style.
